Phillip M. Sarnowski
Phil loves the law. He got his first taste of the law when he competed in Moot Court in college, earning a top-ten advocate award. The experience ignited his passion to argue for what is right and to help others.
Phil volunteered early on in law school with the Legal Aid Society of Columbus, helping real people with real problems. He continued volunteering at pro bono clinics throughout the community as well as participating in the law school’s legal clinic, allowing Phil to earn litigation experience with actual clients.
While at Capital University Law School, Phil was an Executive Board Member of the Law Review, a Student Ambassador, a member of multiple student organizations, and the President of the Law School Republicans. In addition, Phil was a two-time competitor in the ABA National Moot Court Competition, the Law School’s Moot Court Chief Justice, and participated in the American Association of Justice Mock Trial National Competition.
If he’s not working, Phil is more than likely playing or watching sports—any and all of them. However, Phil also enjoys going to the theatre, trying new foods, and playing games with his friends and family. More than anything, though, he loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Chelsea.
