Renee M. Gosney

Renee has lived in the Akron area for almost her entire life. After graduating with honors from Kent State University, she went on to receive a J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. During her time there, she completed two internships, one for a county prosecutor’s office and the other for a civil firm where she worked on a wide variety of cases. Upon graduation in 2020, Renee received a pro bono award from The Supreme Court of Ohio and the Ohio Access to Justice Foundation. Later that year, Renee married and began working for CRUG.
Renee enjoys problem solving and taking on new challenges, both which fuel her desire to help others. When Renee is away from work, she loves traveling and going to movies, concerts, and amusement parks with her husband and friends. Also she enjoys curling up with her cat, a warm cup of coffee, and a good book.
